Disclaimer: The list is based solely on the available web links of works by researchers in contemporary Islamic economics thought (post-1970). The categorization of scholars into generations does not follow the chronological order of their lives, but the years in which major thematic works appeared in Islamic economic thought. The works in contemporary Islamic economic thought which are seminal, novel and theoretical are covered. The purely applied, juristic and empirical works are out of the scope of this particular list and will be covered in separate thematic lists. This list is not exhaustive and will continuously be updated.
